Whether it's your favourite band or not, who do you think is the "coolest" band around?

I'd say The Flaming Lips, I don't listen to them all that much but they've got one hell of a cool band name and not only is their music pretty out there and refreshing but they're whole image is like they've taken 60s psychedelic into the modern age and it works so well.

I just don't think you can get much cooler than this:

Manic Street Preachers and Gorillaz - two bands with great images, great music and a band full of personalities! Smile

It seems that many people think of The Velvet Underground as the coolest band!
